The delegation led by Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Tapdig Amiraslanov has participated in the 69th session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The 69th session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) was held on 15–19 September 2025.
The Republic of Azerbaijan was represented at the event by a delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Tapdiq Amiraslanov.
In his statement under the agenda item on general debate, T. Amiraslanov addressed issues such as the expansion of cooperation between our country and the Agency, in particular the signing and implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of energy planning between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Agency during COP9 held in Baku in November 2024, cooperation within the framework of the IAEA’s technical mission on ensuring nuclear security during major public events, as well as the development of technical cooperation under the Country Programme Framework signed with the Agency in 2024.
Within the framework of the event, members of the Azerbaijani delegation also held bilaterl meetings with representatives of the IAEA Secretariat and IAEA Member States.
