The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has declared martial law across the country starting from 00:00 on 28 September 2020, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Due to the occupation by the armed forces of Armenia of the Nagorno Karabakh region and adjacent regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan as well as regular armed attacks and military provocations against Azerbaijan, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has declared martial law across the country starting from 00:00 on 28 September 2020, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
