Documents required based on invitation letter (with signature and stamp) from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan:
- valid passport (+copy)

- after filling E-Visa Application Form, print it out and apply to the Consular Section with required documents

Rules for obtaining Tourist Visas

- hotel reservation (must be payed with signature and stamp) or notarized personal invitation from the citizen of Azerbaijan with attached copy of his ID.

Rules for obtaining Tourist Visas via Tourist Agencies
Visitors need to provide all necessary documents to one of the national travel companies mentioned below or their partners abroad. After the relevant documents are prepared the national travel companies apply to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for e-visa. When confirmed by MFA, e-visa is forwarded to visitors in electronic format. Henceforth, visitors just need to print out the e-visa and are free to visit the country via any modes of entry (by air, on land, by sea etc.).
To obtain e-visa visitors only need to contact Azerbaijani travel companies or their partners abroad. E-visas are single-entry and are valid for a maximum duration of 30 days. The price for e-visa is 20 US dollars.

Rules for obtaining Transit Visas
The applicant has to submit to the Consular Section one week prior to a trip, a valid entry visa to a country of destination, as well as a round trip ticket. The validity of single transit visa is 3 days, double transit visa - 5 days. For the visit and stay in the areas of Azerbaijan bordering with Armenia, after arrival in Azerbaijan the applicant has to get permission in the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

- note verbale (only for diplomats and employees of the international organizations)
- copy of a diplomatic ID (only for diplomats)

All applicants have to come personally to the Embassy with all necessary documents before payment.
