Memorial board dedicated to the Khojaly Genocide was unveiled in the Dobrava Memorial Park in Maribor, Slovenia

On May 31st, Memorial board dedicated to the Khojaly Genocide was unveiled in the Dobrava Memorial Park in Maribor, Slovenia. The Park opened in 2012 is dedicated to the victims of wars and mass atrocities. The opening of the Memorial Board, which is the joint project of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Austria, Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Slovakia, the Council of State Support to NGOs under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Slovenia-Azerbaijan Friendship Association and the Association of Significant Cemeteries in Europe is an important contribution to raising awareness about the war crimes committed by the Armenia’s armed forces in the town of Khojaly in the occupied Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan in February 1992.
